I leveled a horde 1-60 on the TBC servers using the paid guide addon 100% of the way. It got me all the way to 60 easily with no hangups or bugs. My only gripes with it were that it has you hold quests for a LONG time, having like 15+ quest items in your inventory for levels at a time. As a hunter with full 16 slot bags this was constantly annoying. Also, when you're in a town accepting / turning in quests, it's very poor about having you do it in an optimal order. It'll have you turn in one quest in one corner of a city, run all the way to another corner of the city to turn in another quest, and THEN tell you to pick up the quest from the first NPC.
Was it worth $30? In my opinion, yeah. Just because I have leveled plenty of characters 1-60 and I always reach a point where i have no idea where to go and end up spamming dungeons. This made it so I never had downtime or had to think about what to do.
